If your toilet clogs during routine use, you can often use a plunger to push the blockage through the pipes. Place the plunger over the drain hole and pump up and down to break up the clog. Be careful not to flush while performing this exercise, as you could overflow the basin and flood the bathroom.
Other Drain Problems
If you're experiencing other drain clogs, you may also be able to use a plunger in your sink, bathtub, or shower. Please note, this generally only works for minor clogs.
If you choose to use a drain cleaner, please only use non-corrosive chemicals to avoid damaging the pipes.
